PEG-MGF is a pegylated form of mechano growth factor (MGF), a peptide that corresponds to the E-domain of an IGF-1 splice variant. Pegylation attaches a polyethylene glycol chain to the peptide, increasing its stability in solution. That makes it a commonly referenced research peptide for in-vitro stability studies.
